The Veterinary Services Department functions to maintain the integrity of horse racing and protect the well being of the equine athlete. This is accomplished through a number of well established programs such as pre-race examinations, monitored workouts, documented Veterinarian's List, controlled furosemide administration, and race day blood/urine laboratory analysis.
